NEW YORK, March 6, 2014 – Mike Sullivan, 37, has joined Grant Thornton LLP as a managing director in the firm’s Transaction Advisory Services practice, based in New York.
Sullivan has substantial experience working closely with private equity investors and operators, often acting as the liaison between target management and the investment team, including other business advisors. He has assisted clients in the evaluation of target operations, quality of earnings, working capital cyclicality, assessment of impact to changes in business trends, identification of off balance sheet risks and opportunities and various sell-side mandates.

Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Sullivan served as a senior manager with Ernst & Young, where he was part of the Transaction Support Group primarily serving Office of the Chairman clients. He also served as the lead liaison for the New York Private Equity Network and the Young Professionals in Energy professional affiliate groups.
A certified public accountant in New York and New Jersey, he received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Boston College.
