GREENSBORO, NC, April 21, 2014 – Davenport, Marvin, Joyce & Co., LLP (DMJ), one of the Triad’s largest CPA and accounting firms, is pleased to announce that Mason Barringer has joined the firm as a staff accountant in the firm’s Greensboro, North Carolina office. Mason earned his B.S. in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro as a Dean’s list graduate. Mason previously worked as an accounting intern with DMJ and was active in firm initiatives, including volunteering his time as a Polar Plunger for Special Olympics North Carolina. Mason will be responsible for preparing basic individual and/or corporate tax returns and financial statements, performing components of audits and general accounting duties, in addition to other accounting areas. As a DMJ professional, Mason will participate in attaining individual goals for achieving the firm’s strategic business objectives and engaging in civic and community activities.
